Welcome To The Chaplet of St. Michael
An Introduction
St. Michael appearing one day to Antonia d'Astonaco, a most devout servant of God, told her that he wished to be honored by nine salutations corresponding to the nine choirs of angels, which consist of one Our Father and three Hail Marys in honor of each of the angelic choirs.
Promises of St. Michael
Whosoever would practice this devotion in his honor would have when approaching the holy table, an escort of nine angels chosen from each one of the nine choirs. In addition,, for the daily recitals of these nine salutations, he promised his continual assistance, and that all of the holy angels during life and after death, deliverance from purgatory for themselves and their relations.
Prayer to St. Michael
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
